On the heels of confirming the existence of dark mater and more recently discovering a new class of particles known as pentaquarks, the LHCb experiment at CERN’s Large Hadron Collider has confirmed the existence of yet another unknown subatomic particle. Scientist are referring to the particle as, for lack of a better term, the ‘Wacky Particle’, due in no small part to its wacky nature. “The behavior of this particle is unlike anything we have seen before,” said LHCb spokesperson Eric Chen. “It is able to change size, shape, color, and even composition. The applications or such a substances are virtually endless.”
Earlier experiments that have searched for unknown particles have proved inconclusive. Scientists consider this discovery to be quite exciting.
